Born from the general need for more attractive intentional objects, CAT HAUS brings style, design and sustainability to the wildly bland mass produced cat tree marketplace.

HOW WE MAKE SUSTAINABLE EFFORTS:

We source a portion of our carpet from warehouse scraps that are doomed to the dump. We collect rugs, carpets & fabrics from garage sales, Goodwill & the Salvation Army. We scour craigslist, our friends’ wood shops & free piles for sturdy wood scraps to create our base forms + we shop locally at Mr. Plywood for our lumber. We purchase hardware from our local hardware haven Wink’s Hardware & when possible, use second hand hardware from the Rebuilding Center.

All CAT HAUS products are made in the USA, by hand, to order, by me, Lora.
